It's thick and just like cowhide except slightly longer fur and softer. It looks great in a hallway or bedroom or other area people are going to see it so you can show it off. Mine is in my hallway and I absolutely love it, even more than the cowhide i bought.

This product is exactly as pictured. The feel is soft, the hide is light and well tanned. Very pleased with this purchase, handsome addition to a room.
